training
by Siggi
Your Icelandic horse is in good hands with Siggi for breaking in, correcting and preparing for competitions and inspections.
The welfare of the horse is always the starting point. A horse must feel good and enjoy the work, otherwise it will not learn.
The horses are kept in spacious, comfortable boxes and, depending on the weather, go outside during the day to the pasture or to the always dry paddocks. During the training period, the horse's need for nutrients is also carefully monitored and the feeding schedule is adjusted if necessary.
Siggi uses aspects from different training methods; from the 'scale of education' and the classical Icelandic riding style to Natural Horsemanship and everything in between.
'Listen to the horse' is one of his winged sayings. He is able to read a horse like no other and is very creative in finding solutions that fit the horse.
